The project “Notable women in science and culture — design, experiences through a common tourist route and product” is based on the goals, structure and results of the project Gordana Stojaković, ZIS A-0117/2017, “Notable women of Novi Sad: research, mapping, ( re)interpretation and valorization of the heritage of women in Vojvodina and Serbia.” and continues the development of research on the topic of famous women in science and culture, using the aforementioned results.

Gordana Stojaković’s project, started in 1999 at Women’s Studies in Novi Sad, drew public attention to the contribution of women to the cultural, economic and political history of Novi Sad and other cities in Vojvodina, and models of valorization of women’s heritage within urban spaces through tourist products — itineraries and stories about cities from the Women’s Corner, they became role models for the valorization and reinterpretation of part of the heritage that women in science, culture, economy and politics left as a legacy. The project “Notable women in science and culture — design, experiences through a common tourist route and product” follows that trail.
